Ce mémorial veut perpétuer le souvenir du prince Charles (1903 - 1983), Comte de Flandres et régent de Belgique de 1944 à 1950. Le prince Charles a vécu ici à Raversijde de 1950 jusqu’à sa mort en 1983.
La salle flamande abrite une exposition qui illustre la vie du Prince par des photos, souvenirs personnels, uniformes et objets.
Le Pavillon du Prince, une modeste maison de vanniers de 1865 qu’habitait le prince, a été réaménagé comme à l’époque.
