Dans le Moulin de Pierre se dresse encore la carcasse du moulin avec une base en forme de pyramide. Cet édifice autrefois imposant reposait sur 16 piliers en briques. Il a été construit en 1771-1772 par le meunier Pieter Mehauden. En 1871, le moulin a été transformé en moulin à haute tige. Il a ensuite pu être utilisé comme moulin à vent pour le grain. Par héritage, le moulin est devenu en 1910 la propriété de Romanie et Emma Goedertier, meuniers. Après des dommages en 1918, la restauration du moulin a été suivie de l'aménagement d'un moulin mécanique. En 1940, le bois a été détruit par un incendie. La galerie de pilier a été démolie en 1982. Depuis 2002, il s'agit d'un monument protégé, unique en Flandre en raison de sa forme. Vous trouverez l'ancienne maison du meunier dans la même rue au n° 8.
