Saviez-vous que Wellen avait un résident célèbre qui était la cause du célèbre syndrome de Stockholm? C’était le gangster Clark Olofsson, connu à Wellen sous le nom d’écrivain Daniel Demuynck. Il vivait dans un vieux château à Wellen où il organisait régulièrement des fêtes avec sa bande. Clark Olofsson avait une belle apparence, une personnalité charismatique et une grande intelligence. Au cours de l’un des vols les plus célèbres de Suède, il a réussi à convaincre complètement les otages de faire confiance, de soutenir et de protéger les otages. C’était le 23 août 1973 dans la Sveriges Kreditbanken sur la chic place Norrmalmstorg.
Plus tard, Clark Olofsson se retrouvera ici à Wellen. Il y a même une série Netflix faite sur lui: « Clark ».
