Cernée par son vieux cimetière, l’église saint Vaast est un petit édifice en pierre de Tournai, bâti principalement aux XVe et XVIe siècles dans la tradition du gothique tournaisien.
Au nord et à l’est, subsistent deux murs romans du XI è siècle. Le bâtiment a été incendié en 1693 pendant les guerres de la ligue d’Augsbourg et a subi ensuite de graves altérations mais a été restauré en 2001. A l’intérieur, on remarque la chaire de vérité ( XVII è s ), le confessionnal ( XVIII è s ), les statues de Saint Vaast et Saint Eloi et le lutrin-chandelier ( XV è s ).
