On raconte qu’au 18ième siècle, une certaine Anne Massoz, ancienne religieuse, fit construire en 1736 ces quatorze édicules curieux ainsi que la chapelle du Calvaire du village d’Arbrefontaine. Légende ou réalité, on ne le sait. Mais ces quatorze petits édifices à l’architecture rustique et curieuse, caractérisés par la superposition de schistes, ne manqueront pas d’interpeller les passants. Cette visite, combinée avec une promenade autour d’Arbrefontaine, est l’occasion de passer une belle après-midi bucolique en famille !
