La Schans de Smoutakker ou Redoute de Smoutakker est une redoute et une partie de la ligne de fortifications autour d'Anvers, située dans la commune de Stabroek. La schans a été construite en 1906 et était équipée d'un canon de 7,5 cm. La forteresse, cependant, a eu une courte existence. L'armée belge en retraite a fait sauter le fort le 10 octobre 1914. Cela a causé quelques victimes. En 1958, les restes ont été vendus aux enchères à un commerçant anversois. Ses plans de construire une maison n'ont pas été réalisés car le fossé antichar allait probablement devenir un canal de navigation. Ce n'est qu'en 1999 que Natuurpunt a pu acheter et nettoyer le domaine grâce à l'aide d'Indaver.
