Dans le coin le plus au nord de notre commune, près de la frontière néerlandaise, se trouve le boisé Postel avec son impressionnante abbaye fondée au douzième siècle. Ce sont les norbertins qui, depuis cette époque, défrichent la région et mettent l'hospitalité au premier plan.
En raison de leur chasuble blanche, on les appelle les 'witheren'. Ils pratiquent la sylviculture, l'agriculture et l'élevage. Pour subvenir à leurs besoins, ils brassaient de la bière et fabriquaient du fromage. Entre-temps, cela s'est développé en une véritable industrie artisanale. Une industrie à laquelle les touristes se pressent avec enthousiasme. Peu importe l'affluence, une fois à l'intérieur des murs de l'abbaye, une étrange tranquillité vous envahit.
