La RAVeL L156 est une ancienne ligne de chemin de fer qui a été créée en 1856 à l'initiative du prince héritier de Chimay et devait établir la connexion entre Hermeton-sur-Meuse et Anor en France. L'exploitation de la ligne est restée privée jusqu'en 1948, lorsque la SNCB a racheté la concession.
