L’église Saint-Jean-Baptiste est l’église paroissiale du village de Sint-Jansrade, qui appartient à la commune belge d’Aubel, située rue de la Marnière.
La construction de cette église a commencé en 1879 et elle a été consacrée en 1880. La plus grande église était devenue nécessaire parce que la population avait considérablement augmenté à cause de l’industrie textile dans le sud. Peu avant 1890, la tour ouest a été construite.
