La section hockey du Royal Daring voit le jour en 1922.
De 1946 à 1949, le club installe sa suprématie dans l’élite belge en championnat et remporte plusieurs titres.
Un nouveau terrain synthétique est construit en 2007.
Le club a à nouveau rejoint la Division Honneur la saison 2010-2011 qu’il avait quittée depuis presque 30 ans.
En plus des valeurs véhiculées par le hockey , le Royal Daring s’appuie sur cinq points fondamentaux défendus par son école des jeunes : apprentissage, plaisir, performance, compétition, fair-play.
