Cette remarquable maison à pans de bois à encorbellements est appelée la Maison Espagnole mais aussi la Maison du Maire .
Il date d ' avant 1590 . C'était autrefois une auberge et le siège du Tribunal de Grupont. Ici, les quatre sœurs Jamin ont été déclarées sorcières en 1618 par le tribunal de l'Inquisition et condamnées à être brûlées sur le bûcher . Le village honore la mémoire de ces quatre victimes à travers 8 panneaux qui racontent leur histoire
En 1855, la maison devient la propriété du meunier Clément Herman et de ses descendants.
