Oetwil am See est une commune suisse du canton de Zurich, située dans le district de Meilen. Il est situé dans la région de Pfannenstiel.
Entre 1909 et 1949, Oetwil am See est reliée à Uster par le tramway Uster-Oetwil et, entre 1903 et 1950, à Wetzikon et Meilen par le tramway Wetzikon-Meillen. Les deux lignes se rejoignaient à Langholz, au sud de la commune.
