Crans , est une commune suisse du canton de Vaud, située dans le district de Nyon. Les habitants y sont nommés les « corbeaux ».
Au contact de Nyon, chef-lieu du district, la commune de Crans s'étend sur 439 ha, du lac à l'autoroute. Le village même se situe sur un coteau dominant le bassin du Léman. Plus ancienne construction datée, le temple occupe le promontoire sud d'où la vue s'étend de Genève à Lausanne.
