Le tunnel de base du Ceneri est un tunnel de base en construction qui joindra Vigana et Vezia au Tessin, en Suisse. Il se situe dans le prolongement sud du tunnel de base du Saint-Gothard. Son percement a été achevé en janvier 2016 et il est en cours d'équipement pour une mise en service prévue en décembre 2020. Le 4 septembre 2020, la Confédération inaugurera officiellement le tunnel de base du Ceneri au portail nord de Camorino et en gare de Lugano.
Le tunnel de base du Ceneri a été pensé comme le maillon sud d’un axe de transit marchandises/voyageurs haute performance entre Zurich et Milan par le massif du Saint-Gothard, dont le tunnel de base homonyme de 57 km de long est la pièce principale. Ce programme est une partie du programme suisse des Nouvelles lignes ferroviaires à travers les Alpes .
