Situé de manière particulièrement pittoresque, le village viticole de Piesport se trouve sur la Mittelmosel. Le village est entouré de pentes viticoles escarpées et en terrasses. Il est composé de maisons à colombages et de vieilles fermes viticoles. Au pied de la colline viticole, on peut admirer les vestiges de la plus ancienne (500 av. J.-C.) et de la plus grande cave romaine au nord des Alpes.
