Le quartier d'Ost ou Alsdorf-Ost est situé à l'est du centre-ville d'Alsdorf dans la région urbaine d'Aix-la-Chapelle. Au sud se trouve le quartier d'Alsdorf Kellersberg et au nord Schaufenberg. Le quartier dispose d'une zone commerciale et abrite le poste central de police d'Alsdorf. On y trouve également une école primaire communautaire et une garderie. L'église catholique s'appelle Saint-Joseph.
