La localidad de Ost o Alsdorf-Ost es un distrito situado al este del centro de la ciudad de Alsdorf, en la región urbana de Aachen. Al sur se encuentra el distrito de Kellersberg y al norte Schaufenberg. El distrito cuenta con una zona industrial y es la ubicación de la comisaría principal de policía de Alsdorf. Además, aquí hay una escuela primaria comunitaria y un jardín de infancia. La iglesia católica se llama San José.
