Rheinberg est une ville allemande de l'arrondissement de Wesel, en Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie. Située sur la rive gauche du Rhin, elle compte 32 752 habitants.
Cette ancienne place forte fut vainement assiégée par le duc de Parme en 1586. Prise par les Espagnols en 1590, elle fut reprise par Maurice de Nassau en 1597 et en 1601. Elle fut ensuite occupée par Spinola en 1606, par Louis XIV en 1672, puis prise et démantelée en 1703 par les Impériaux.
