Les Berlinois ont accès à 620 km de pistes cyclables, dont environ 150 km de pistes cyclables obligatoires, 190 km de routes cyclables hors route, 60 km de pistes cyclables sur les routes, 70 km de voies de bus partagées ouvertes aux cyclistes, 100 km de chemins combinés piétons/vélos et 50 km de pistes cyclables marquées sur les trottoirs. En plus d'une variété de pistes et de voies cyclables, il existe également des Fahrradstrassen (rues à vélos) où les vélos ont la priorité et où les véhicules sont limités à 30 km/h.
