Le lac de Rudow est un lac allongé dans la Prignitz, à l'extrême nord-ouest du Brandebourg. Du côté sud-ouest se trouve la ville de Lenzen, à moins de trois kilomètres du lit moyen inférieur de l'Elbe.
La surface du lac, en forme de rigole, s'étend dans un axe sud-ouest - nord-est et couvre 1,75 km², avec une longueur allant jusqu'à 3,77 kilomètres et une largeur maximale de 610 mètres. Le niveau de l'eau se situe, selon la carte topographique, à 15,3 m NN. La plus grande profondeur est estimée à six mètres ; le volume de l'étendue d'eau est d'environ 6,62 millions de mètres cubes. Le bassin versant du lac a une superficie de 2985 hectares.
