Le Tonenburg est un refuge fortifié près du village d'Albaxen en Westphalie orientale, dans le district de Höxter en Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie. Le château perché domine la Weser et est visible depuis l'abbaye bénédictine de Corvey, le long de la route fédérale 64 et de la piste cyclable de la Weser.
Le site comprend le refuge fortifié, la cour avec la maison de ferme datant de 1675, une ancienne distillerie de 1660, qui est aujourd'hui utilisée comme restaurant, ainsi qu'une grange à seigle et un bâtiment économique de 1708. L'ensemble du château a été restauré. Une partie de ce site est également un puits vieux de 700 ans, profond de 18 mètres.
