La gare de Bergholz était une gare de correspondance établie en 1957 en tant que gare à tour, située sur le ring extérieur de Berlin, au sud de Potsdam. Sur le plan opérationnel, malgré sa construction, il s'agissait d'un point d'arrêt.
Elle a été créée en 1956 à la croisée de la ligne ferroviaire Berlin–Blankenheim avec le ring extérieur et offrait une possibilité de correspondance pour les voyageurs venant de Michendorf, Wilhelmshorst, Rehbrücke ainsi que de Potsdam-Drewitz vers les trains appelés Sputnik, surtout à destination de Berlin-Est. Un pont piétonnier permettait le passage entre les quais latéraux supérieurs sur le ring extérieur et les quais latéraux inférieurs sur la ligne de Wetzlar.
