La Volksbank Rhein-Erft-Köln eG est une banque coopérative et a son siège social à Hürth. La zone d'activité de la banque comprend les villes de Brühl, Dormagen, Erftstadt, Euskirchen, Hürth, Frechen, Kerpen, Pulheim, Wesseling, Köln et les communes de Nörvenich, Weilerswist et Swisttal.
L'histoire de la Volksbank Rhein-Erft-Köln eG, anciennement Raiffeisenbank Frechen-Hürth eG, remonte à 1880. Les racines de la banque se trouvaient à Gleuel, Urbach et Worringen. Au fil des ans, un nombre croissant de banques Raiffeisen et de caisses d'épargne et de prêt ont été créées, qui se sont unies au fil des ans en unités de plus en plus grandes, la dernière fusion ayant eu lieu en octobre 2019.
