De Volksbank Rhein-Erft-Köln eG is een coöperatieve bank en heeft haar hoofdkantoor in Hürth. Het werkgebied van de bank omvat de steden Brühl, Dormagen, Erftstadt, Euskirchen, Hürth, Frechen, Kerpen, Pulheim, Wesseling, Keulen en de gemeenten Nörvenich, Weilerswist en Swisttal.
De geschiedenis van de Volksbank Rhein-Erft-Köln eG, voorheen Raiffeisenbank Frechen-Hürth eG, gaat terug tot het jaar 1880. De wortels van de bank lagen in Gleuel, Urbach en Worringen. In de loop der jaren werden in steeds meer plaatsen Raiffeisenbanken en spaar- en leenkassen opgericht, die zich in de loop der jaren aaneensloten tot steeds grotere eenheden, laatstelijk in oktober 2019.
