La tourbière de Further est une zone boisée et humide à Langenfeld, qui est désignée comme une zone de protection de la nature d'environ 42 ha. Pratiquement identique avec ses 43,3 ha, la zone FFH de la tourbière de Further, identifiée DE-4807-304, fait partie du réseau européen de zones protégées Natura 2000. La proposition de désignation de la zone de protection d'importance communautaire en mars 2001 a été suivie de la reconnaissance en tant que zone Natura 2000 en décembre 2004.
