L'observatoire Neanderhöhe Hochdahl e. V. est un observatoire populaire fondé en 1967 par un groupe d'astronomes amateurs en Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie.
L'association compte aujourd'hui environ 400 membres et propose dans plusieurs lieux à Erkrath-Hochdahl un large éventail de formations continues et d'activités pour les jeunes sur des sujets astronomiques et autres. Avec le planétarium Stellarium Erkrath, l'association gère le premier planétarium en Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie, équipé d'une projection vidéo sur une coupole complète.
