La clinique LVR de Bedburg-Hau est l'une des plus grandes cliniques de Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie et traite des maladies psychiques et neurologiques.
La construction du site a commencé en 1908. Cette première phase a été achevée en 1912 avec 90 bâtiments. Le 4 juillet 1912, l'inauguration officielle a eu lieu. L'établissement a été baptisé 8e province d'établissement médical et de soins. C'était, à son époque, l'un des plus grands hôpitaux/cliniques d'Europe.
