Le moulin à vent de la grange de Saalow est un moulin à vent dans lequel le vent moteur traverse directement le bâtiment du moulin et n’est pas, comme c’est généralement le cas, dirigé autour du moulin. Le bâtiment du 19e siècle, qui est donc parfois classé comme une « éolienne en bois », a été érigé à l’origine dans ce qui est aujourd’hui le quartier de Podème à Dresde. C’est unique au monde.
L’immeuble dont l’adresse est Dorfaue Saalow 19 est situé à Saalow, un quartier de la commune d’Am Mellensee dans l’arrondissement de Teltow-Fläming dans le sud du Brandebourg. Il se trouve à côté du centre communautaire, au centre du village.
