Le château de Nieder-Modau est un château élevé disparu situé sur la colline du château près de Modau, un quartier d'Ober-Ramstadt, dans le district de Darmstadt-Dieburg en Hesse.
La colline du château, presque conique et de nouveau boisée aujourd'hui, se trouve à environ 12 kilomètres au sud-est de la ville de Darmstadt en Hesse du Sud, dans la région de l'avant-Odenwald, au nord de Nieder-Modau et au sud d'Ober-Ramstadt, et mesure environ 280 mètres de haut. Aujourd'hui, le sentier de randonnée O4 de la ville d'Ober-Ramstadt, le Silberbergweg, passe également par le site du château. La colline est entourée par la Modau qui s'écoule d'un sud-ouest à un nord en formant une demi-boucle.
