Veenhusen est une localité de la commune de Moormerland dans le district de Leer en Basse-Saxe. À la fin de l'année 2016, le village de 15,62 km² comptait environ 4150 habitants.
L'ancienne commune autonome forme depuis la réforme communale, qui est entrée en vigueur le 1er janvier 1973, avec dix autres villages la commune de Moormerland. Le lieu comptait 3898 habitants au 31 décembre 2011. L'église de Veenhusen a été construite vers 1400 et abrite un orgue construit par Johann Gottfried Rohlfs en 1801 et 1802, qui est encore largement conservé.
