Le Nägelesfelsen est une réserve naturelle désignée par le ministère de la Culture du Wurtemberg le 23 août 1937 par décret sur le territoire de la ville de Bad Urach dans le district de Reutlingen.
La réserve naturelle de Nägelesfelsen est située au nord de la ville de Bad Urach, sur une pente orientée sud-ouest au-dessus de la vallée d’Erms, qui est formée par les couches d’Oxford. La zone appartient à l’espace naturel de Mittlere Kuppenalb.
