À proximité immédiate de la réserve naturelle « Schwarzes Venn » se trouve dans la limite de Velen le Puits Artésien. Ce puits offre détente et repos. Il est situé au milieu des arbres et d'un paysage enchanteur. Ici, on peut faire quelque chose pour sa santé selon les règles du pasteur Sebastian Kneipp. Le Puits Artésien est situé au nord-est de Heiden, à la frontière de Velen et de Reken, et est accessible par le Venneweg.
