Würgassen est un village allemand situé dans la commune de Beverungen, en Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie. Le village comptait 861 habitants à la fin de 2014.
Würgassen est le seul quartier de Beverungen situé sur la rive nord de la Weser. Un pont et un bac sur cette rivière relient le village à Herstelle et à la Bundesstraße 83 qui traverse ce village en direction de Höxter. La ville voisine de Lauenförde, où se trouve la gare la plus proche depuis 1878, se trouve directement au nord du village. À l’est de Herstelle, en face de Würgassen, la rivière Diemel se jette dans la Weser. Ici, le village borde la ville de Bad Karlshafen.
