Le départ se fait au centre du village de Haibühl. Le chemin passe par Irlsaign et Eben pour arriver à Engelshütt. Ici, on traverse la route tout droit. On continue environ 800 m le long de la rue Frahelser jusqu'à Hinterfrahels, où le sentier de randonnée descend vers la droite dans un chemin forestier. En passant par le sentier du ruisseau, on retourne au point de départ au centre du village de Haibühl. Il est possible de faire une pause au Gasthof Meindl à Haibühl.
