Tolox est une commune de la province de Malaga dans la communauté autonome d'Andalousie en Espagne. En 2021 on comptait 2203 habitants.Entre Alozaina et Coín, située sur le versant oriental de Sierra de las Nieves , elle bénéficie d'un accès privilégié par une piste forestière qui bifurque ensuite vers Istán su sud et vers Ronda au nord-ouest. le cours du río Grande traverse la ville du nord-est au sud. Dans son territoire communal se trouve le Pico de la Torrecilla, le plus haut de la chaîne de montagnes susmentionnée, et le système Sima GESM, la cavité la plus profonde d'Andalousie, avec envieron 1100 mètres explorés.
