Tolox è un comune spagnolo della provincia di Málaga, in Andalusia. Nel 2021 contava 2203 abitanti. Tra Alozaina e Coín, situato sul versante est della Sierra de las Nieves, ha un accesso privilegiato a quest'area tramite una pista forestale che si biforca successivamente verso Istán a sud e verso Ronda a nord-ovest. Il corso del Río Grande attraversa il paese da nord-est a sud. All'interno del suo territorio comunale si trovano il Pico de la Torrecilla, il più alto della suddetta sierra, e il Sistema Sima GESM, la cavità più profonda dell'Andalusia, con circa 1100 metri esplorati.
