San Martín de Trevejo est une commune de la province de Cáceres dans la communauté autonome d'Estrémadure en Espagne.En 1136, Alphonse VII de León et Castille donne le château de Trevejo à Ponce de Cabrera afin de proteger Ciudad Rodrigo qui était mal fortifiée. Puis en 1157, le même Ponce de Cabrera donne son château de Trevejo situé sur le territoire de Coria à Dieu et aux Hospitaliers de l'ordre de Saint-Jean de Jérusalem.
