Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle est une commune située dans la province de La Corogne, en communauté autonome de Galice , à mi-chemin entre La Corogne et Pontevedra. C'est la capitale de la comarque du même nom et de la communauté autonome. À ce dernier titre, elle héberge le domaine du gouvernement et du Parlement de la communauté. Elle comptait 97 858 habitants en 2021.
