Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles est un constructeur ferroviaire basque espagnol dont le siège se trouve à Beasain, au Pays basque. Le matériel fabriqué par CAF comprend des wagons, des voitures de chemin de fer et des locomotives, ainsi que des essieux à écartement variable.Le 13 mars 1901, la Sociedad Española de Construcciones Metálicas ou SECM est créé à Bilbao. Cette société anonyme au capital de 12 500 000 pesetas, création du deuxième marquis d'Urquijo possède plusieurs usines à Linares, Gijón, Bilbao et Madrid.
