L'embassament de Beniarrés est situé dans les municipalités de Beniarrés et Planes de la baronie, dans la région du Comtat.
Il a été construit en 1958 dans le lit de la rivière Serpis sur une superficie de 268 hectares, avec une capacité maximale de 31 hm³. Il possède un barrage en gravité de 53 m de hauteur, avec un trop-plein de vannes d'une capacité de 1 000 m³/s.
