L’opération Galaxia est le nom de code donné au plan précédant le coup d'État du 23-F, en Espagne. Son nom vient du fait que les officiers impliqués dans le plan se réunirent dans la Cafetería Galaxia à Madrid, le 11 novembre 1978, pour arrêter le processus constitutionnaliste qui avait lieu en ce moment-là dans l'Espagne post-franquiste. Cette date fut choisie parce que le roi Juan Carlos Ier d'Espagne avait prévu un voyage officiel au Mexique. Les trois personnes chargées de l'opération étaient le lieutenant-colonel Antonio Tejero, le capitaine de la police Ricardo Sáenz de Ynestrillas et un autre colonel, dont l'identité demeure inconnue.
