Al-Andalus est le terme qui désigne l'ensemble des territoires de la péninsule Ibérique et certains du Sud de la France, qui furent, à un moment ou un autre, sous domination musulmanes, entre 711 et 1492 ,,,. L'Andalousie actuelle, qui en tire son nom, n'en constitua longtemps qu'une petite partie.
