Le disparu Palais du Réal était la résidence officielle des rois de Valence lorsqu'ils visitaient la ville, et se trouvait sur la rive gauche du fleuve, où se trouvent actuellement les Jardins du Réal. Il était également connu sous le nom de Palais des trois cents clés, en référence au nombre de chambres qu'il disposait à son apogée.
