L'abbaye de Cluny est une abbaye bénédictine située dans le département français de Saône-et-Loire en région Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.Fondée le 11 septembre 910 par le duc d'Aquitaine et comte d'Auvergne Guillaume Ier, devenue le symbole du renouveau monastique en Occident, Cluny fut un foyer de réforme de la règle bénédictine et un centre intellectuel de premier plan au Moyen Âge classique.
