Cloyes-sur-le-Loir est une ancienne commune française située dans le département d'Eure-et-Loir en région Centre-Val de Loire et se trouve à la fois à la porte du Perche au Nord et de la Beauce au Sud.
Depuis le 1er janvier 2017, Cloyes-sur-le-Loir est intégrée à la commune nouvelle de Cloyes-les-Trois-Rivières dont elle devient le chef-lieu, avec statut de commune déléguée. Elle fait partie du réseau Village étape depuis 2017.
