Torfou est une ancienne commune française située dans le département de Maine-et-Loire, en région Pays de la Loire, devenue le 15 décembre 2015 une commune déléguée au sein de la commune nouvelle de Sèvremoine.Torfou est une commune angevine des Mauges. Elle se trouve à 18 km à l'ouest de Cholet, à 20 km au nord-ouest des Herbiers, et à environ 39 km de la ville de Nantes.
