Thury-Harcourt est depuis le 1er janvier 2016 une commune déléguée au sein de la commune nouvelle du Hom, et une ancienne commune française, située dans le département du Calvados en région Normandie.
Située dans la vallée de la rivière l’Orne, ses environs très vallonnés comme à Clécy, ou bien à la Roche d'Oëtre sont un contraste saisissant avec le plateau de Caen situé plus au nord. Cette Suisse normande, faite de collines, attire les visiteurs en raison des nombreuses activités sportives qui peuvent y être pratiquées.
