Saint-Martin-Longueau est une commune française située dans le département de l'Oise en région Hauts-de-France. Ses habitants sont appelés les Saint-Martinois-Longoviciens et Saint-Martinoises-Longoviciennes.
La commune s'est formée à partir de deux noyaux de peuplement : Longueau, au bord de la route des Flandres, et Saint-Martin en retrait de cette route. Elle s'étend au nord-est d'une vaste zone tourbeuse, les marais de Sacy-le-Grand, anciennement occupée par un lac.
