Mison est une commune française située dans le département des Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, en région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.Le village est situé en hauteur, à 638 m, au pied de la colline où se trouvait le château médiéval. Le village des Armands est situé sur la route nationale 75, à 600 m d’altitude environ. Les communes limitrophes sont Laragne-Montéglin, Upaix, Le Poët, Sisteron et Val Buëch-Méouge.
