Faugères [fo.gɛ.ʁə], en occitan probablement Falhièiras [fa.ʎiɛj.rɔs] , est une commune française située dans le centre du département de l'Hérault en région Occitanie.Exposée à un climat méditerranéen, elle est drainée par le Libron, le ruisseau des Arénasses et par divers autres petits cours d'eau. Incluse dans le parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc, la commune possède un patrimoine naturel remarquable composé d'une zone naturelle d'intérêt écologique, faunistique et floristique. Ses habitants sont appelés les Faugerols. Cette commune est connue pour être le terroir du faugères, un vin classé en AOC,.
